Octopz goes to school at OCAD
Yay, we can now spread the news from the roof of the Sharp Centre of Design: The Ontario College of Art & Design (OCAD) has picked Octopz advanced collaboration software for use by students and faculty in the Advertising, Graphic, Industrial and Environmental Design programs.
According to OCAD president Sara Diamond:
Octopz is a next generation social technology that is ideal for design and art-making in the media space, for both virtual planning and production.
In the initial rollout, 900 participants in the OCAD Laptop Program will use Octopz to support individual creativity and enable team collaboration. The laptop program already provides students with the latest 2D and 3D applications from companies like Adobe and Autodesk.
